Sophomore Kelley Kirkpatrick's mental steadiness and fearless net game make her an integral part of a solid corps of returners to the 2005-2006 Brown Bears. During the spring 2005 season, Kelley spent most time at the #6 singles position, helping to clinch wins over Virginia Tech, Old Dominion, and Loyola Marymount, and is expected to compete for time this 2006 season in an increasingly deep lineup. As one half of a solid doubles tandem with Ashley Pariser, she is set to compete at the #1 spot this spring, facing the best teams on a highly competitive schedule.
