Jennifer Duffy is in her first season as an assistant coach on the Brown softball staff. Duffy joins Brown from Bridgewater State College, where she was an assistant coach/pitching coach in 2007.

Duffy graduated from Merrimack College in 2000, and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration while playing softball for four years. As a pitcher, Duffy posted a 76-20 career record (.791 percent), while leading her team to three consecutive NCAA Regional titles, while also competing at the NCAA Nationals three times. At the 2000 Nationals, Duffy tied a 17-year-old record by throwing a no-hitter and was a two-time All American.

The former Jennifer Connolly holds numerous Merrimack softball records, including victories in a single season (30 in 1999), innings pitched in a season (240.7 in 2000) and is third all-time in strikeouts in a season (151 in 2000). She also ranks second all-time in career victories (72), fourth in career innings pitched (617.7), fourth in career strikeouts (381), and fourth in career ERA (1.43).

Duffy resides in Plymouth, MA, with her husband, Mike.
