Assistant Coach

A 2006 graduate of UNH with a B.A. in Zoology, Blanchette returns to the Bears' coaching staff for her second season after a successful lacrosse career with the Wildcats. A four-year starter in the midfield, Blanchette earned Second Team Regional All-American honors following her senior year and was also selected to play in the North/South Senior All-Star game. Blanchette was named to the America East All-Rookie Team as a freshman in 2003 and First Team All-America East as a senior in 2006, while also earning a spot on the 2006 America East All-Tournament Team.

"Kristin is a great fit for Brown and our student-athletes," commented McDonald. "She brings a tremendous amount of energy and excitement to the program. As a former collegiate standout and a former player on the US Developmental Squad, Kristin knows what it takes to compete at the highest level and understands the demands of being a student-athlete."

A former member of the United States Developmental Team (2005-2007), Blanchette works with the Bears' attack, while also coordinating team travel, gear, and other team responsibilities. Last season, Blanchette coached 2007 All-Ivy honorees Jadie DeTolla `08, who had her top offensive output of her career last year, and Molly McCarthy `10.

She has coached at several camps and clinics across the country, including US Lacrosse National Team Clinics, The UNH Lacrosse Camp (2002-2006), the Kelly Amonte Lacrosse Camp (2004-2006), and the Princeton Lacrosse Elite and Tiger Camp (2006). Blanchette continues to serve as a Director for Infinity Camps and also ran the KB15 Skills Camp last summer.
