The No. 7 Brown women's crew defeated the No. 2 Yale Bulldogs on the Seekonk River on Saturday morning. With some rain and a light cross tailwind, the varsity eight came out strong from the start, defeating Yale by five seconds in its final home race of the 2008 season. (MORE) 4/26/08
Women's Crew Defeats Columbia and Cornell in All Six Races
The Brown women's crew picked up another victory today, as Bruno defeated both Cornell and Columbia in all six races on the Cayuga Inlet in Ithaca, New York this morning. Brown's coxswains did an outstanding job guiding the crews through the unique 2,000-meter course, which features two turns making it tricky for some crews to navigate through. (MORE) 4/19/08
Women's Crew Defeats Boston University and Gonzaga on Charles River
It was another great day of racing for the Brown women's crew, as the Bears' varsity eight defeated Boston University and Gonzaga on the Charles River on Saturday morning. While the tailwind seemed to pick up by the end of the day causing rougher conditions for competing crews, Bruno didn't seem to be effected at all. (MORE)
