High School: Was a two-time second team All-District selection out of Westside High School in Houston....is known for her quickness in the post and her ability to rebound and block shots....Over the course of her four years at Westside, Alexander received several All-Tournament Team honors, including the Most Valuable Player award at the Aldine ISD Tournament as a senior....Was a two-year captain on the varsity team, and was listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students as well as the Who's Who Sports Edition...Also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Girl Scouts, National Honor Society and was a member of the Future Business Leaders of America.
