2006-2007: Opened his collegiate career with a win at the Alden Invite with a jump of 46-7.75. Chapin was very consistent throughout the season and finished 9th at the Heptagonal Indoor Championships with a jump of 46- 10.75. Although plagued by injury, he also finished 9th at the Heptagonal Outdoor Championship jumping 46-0.75.
High School: Personal Bests- 46'11 (triple jump), 20'4 (long jump), 6'2 (high jump). Chapin placed first in the triple jump at the Washington state meet.
