PROVIDENCE, RI - The Brown men's tennis team (13-14, 4-2) hosted #44 Harvard (14-6, 6-0) on Sunday afternoon in a match that would potentially go a long way in determining the 2008 Ivy Champion. A Brown win would give both the Crimson and the Bears one loss in the Ancient Eight with one match left to play. However, Harvard posted a dominating, 7-0, win over Brown to claim the 2008 Title, ending the Bears' hopes for their fourth title overall. Juniors Sam Garland (Bradenton, FL) and Noah Gardner (Cambridge, MA) earned the lone win on the day, picking up an 8-5 victory at #2 doubles.
