An impressive fall from Matt has the coaching staff feeling great about the future of Brown Lacrosse in the goal. While he has a big hurdle to earn playing time in 2008 with Jordan Burke here, few can deny that he is truly pushing the starter and that Matt is poised and prepared for his opportunity. Quick hands and a bullet-like, accurate outlet are easily evident. Matt is that 2nd string quarterback that everyone has confidence in and wants to see get his chance someday...Secondary School Background: A graduate of the Gilman School where he lettered in lacrosse (3) and ice hockey (2)...Lacrosse team captain as a senior...First team All-Baltimore County as a junior and senior...Tewaaraton Award Watch List...Gilman co-MVP and Coaches Award winner his senior year...Maryland Free-State team member...Blue Chip Camp attendee...Made 302 career saves with a save percentage of .603...Four-year Honor Roll student...Personal: The son Andrew and Connie Chriss of Lutherville...Has a brother, Evan...Enjoys skiing, squash and going to the beach...Undecided on his concentration. |
