The development of size, strength and fitness are most obvious between the freshman and sophomore years. This is certainly the case with Harrison, as he came back this fall a much more fit athlete and a more complete lacrosse player. He is pushing for time in several areas: face-off, defensive midfield, and he even played a bit of offensive midfield in the fall. Harrison has a deceptive first step, and with continued personal growth, we are hopeful he will grow into a bigger role for the program...2007: Played in nine games...Captured 10 of 28 face-offs, including 6 of 11 face-offs vs. Penn...Secondary School Background: A graduate of the Haverford School where he lettered in lacrosse (3) and soccer (3)...Lacrosse team captain as a senior...Two-time All-League selection...All-State selection his senior year...Played for the 2005 Pennsylvania State Champions...Earned High Honors all through high school...Personal: The son of Mark and Abbe Avart of Bryn Mawr...Enjoys playing the viola... Commerce, Organization and Entrepreneurship concentrator. |
