The five males and five females were starters or key reserves on their respective varsity teams and carry a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average. (MORE) ![]() Hurley Named Second Team All-ECAC Hockey Brown senior captain Sean Hurley (Rutland, VT) has been named to the 2008 All-ECAC Hockey team in a vote by the 12 ECAC men's hockey coaches. A Second Team selection a year ago, Hurley has been named to the Second Team for the second straight year. (MORE) ![]() 21 Men's Icers on ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team The Brown men's ice hockey team had a league-high 21 student-athletes selected to the 2008 ECAC Men's All-Academic Team. Rensselaer was next with 18, while Colgate and Harvard each had 15 student-athletes selected to the 153-member team. Seniors Paul Baier (North Kingstown, RI), Sean Hurley (Rutland, VT), and David Robertson (Saunderstown, RI), who is also one of seven nominees for the ECAC Student-Athlete of the Year, were three of the 29 three-time selections to the team, while Brown also had 12 of the 81 student-athletes who were recognized for the second straight year.
