Assistant Coach

Now in his eighth season at Brown, Andy Partee brings a wealth of experience and a strong teaching philosophy to his job as an assistant on coach Glen Miller's coaching staff. His duties at Brown include on-court instruction and skill development, recruiting, and scouting of opponents.

Partee joined the Brown coaching staff eight years ago after working as an assistant coach at Monmouth College from 1994-1998. At Monmouth, Partee was involved in all aspects of the basketball program - recruiting, on-court instruction, film exchange, monitoring of academic progress, and overseeing the strength and conditioning program. While at Monmouth, the Hawks captured the Northeast Conference Championship and earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament.

Partee enjoyed a successful playing career at Monmouth from 1988-1992, earning a B.S. degree in Mathematics in 1992. He helped Monmouth to its first 20-win season in 1991-1992 under head coach Wayne Szoke.

Partee also worked as an assistant coach at Northern Colorado from 1992-1994, assisting in the day-to-day management of the basketball program.

Partee currently lives in North Providence, Rhode Island, with his wife, Tracey.
