Guy Pollino come to Brown from The University of Massachusetts. At UMass since 1994, he has enjoyed great success, including both a Men's and Women's Atlantic-10 Championship season in 2000-2001. In his seven years in Amherst, he coached numerous NCAA Zone qualifiers, two A-10 individual champions, and countless conference finalists. He is also heavily involved in U.S. Diving, and currently serves as the Administrative Chairperson for the New England Association. With Springfield Area Diving, Pollino has coached divers in USD Junior Olympic Zone and National meets, as well as several New England and Regional Age Group champions. A native of Winchester, MA, Pollino began competitive diving at age seven and won numerous AAU and Junior Olympic awards. He was a three-time All-American selection in 1990 and 1991 for Springfield College, a New England Collegiate Diving Champion, and in his senior year was awarded the Hugh McCurdy Award for Outstanding Diver in New England. He graduated in 1991 with a degree in Physical Education. |
