Providence, RI - The Brown men's golf team posted Sunday's lowest score, shooting a sizzling 294 team total in the second round of the New England Division I Championship held at the Triggs Golf Club in Providence, Rhode Island. Along the way, freshman Danny Wallis (Los Gatos, CA) recorded the lowest score of the 95-man field, posting a two under par 70 at the par 72 course.

Brown finished 6th overall in the 19-team field with a two-day 613 team score. Senior co-captain Ed Yoon (East Greenwich, RI) led the Bears and finished 7th overall with a two-day 151 (77, 74). Junior Kevin Buchert (Short Hills, NJ) shot 73 on the final day and finished 22nd overall after posting an 81 on Saturday.

Wallis finished 28th overall, shooting a two-day 156, recording 40 plus putts on the first day of play. Sophomore Jason Ricketts was next for the Bears, shooting 85-77-162 to place 51st, while freshman Robert Chen turned in a solid 81-81-163 to place 57th overall.
