Rick Merriam Position: Assistant Athletic Director - Marketing & Promotions

Rick Merriam joined the Brown University Athletic Department in October 2005 as Assistant Director of Athletics for Marketing & Promotions. In this capacity, Merriam and his staff oversee game day promotions and special events, corporate partnerships, broadcast agreements, licensing and merchandise, the kid's club, as well as advertising and outreach on behalf of the Bears.

Prior to coming to Brown, Rick held executive level marketing positions with Colorado College, Gatorade, the Colorado Rapids (Major League Soccer), and the U.S. Olympic Committee. A 1993 graduate of Middlebury College and native New Englander, he and his wife Brooke live in Bristol, RI with their two young children, Sam and Cate.
