Todd Phelps joined the Brown Athletic staff in March 2002 as Coordinator of Athletic Facilities and Event Operations. In August of 2006, he became an Assistant Athletic Director-Operations. His responsibilities include oversight of many areas, including all home intercollegiate contests, winter scheduling for intercollegiate programs, outside rental groups, summer camps and clinics, and the indoor tennis and squash facility. In addition, Phelps is also an administrator for three varsity programs, including Gymnastics, Women's Lacrosse, and Softball.

Prior to coming to Brown, Phelps spent the previous year at Yale University as Facilities and Operations intern. Before his internship at Yale, he spent the previous six years as Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Middlebury College in Vermont. He also served as Coordinator of Facilities and Operations during three of his years at Middlebury.

Phelps graduated from Ithaca College in New York in 1995 with a degree in Physical Education Teaching K-12. While in school, he spent 3 years as Student-Assistant for the men's basketball program.

Todd and his wife, Nancy, reside in Westborough, MA.
